Joe spent several years at Sprint Corporation (NYSE: S) working in various executive positions in Corporation Communications, Marketing, General Management, Business Development and Finance. His most recent role was a multi-faceted leadership/executive role as Sprint’s Vice President, Corporate Communications & Public Relations. In this role, he provided communications guidance to four different Sprint CEOs along with coaching, media strategies, employee engagement, crisis communications, Board of Director presentations, and Wall St./earnings preparation. Prior to the executive role in Corporate Communications, Joe led the consumer marketing organization, with oversight of a $76 million expense budget and multi-billion dollar P&L. Since electing early-retirement from Sprint in late 2015, Joe spends his time providing strategic, communications/PR, marketing, and executive coaching in a variety of consulting engagements.
Joe received his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration in Marketing from Rockhurst University (Dean’s Honor Roll); he also graduated from the Duke Executive Leadership Program.
