A mid-sized Bank ($3.5B in assets) needed to implement an Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program for their organization. A new internal audit Vice President had recently been hired, and there were regulatory pressures to show development of an ERM program. They engaged Core Catalysts to provide subject matter expertise and thought leadership to help them define the ERM program processes and structure.

After the project was completed, we provided periodic reviews of progress and served as a sounding board for the ERM program leader.
A comprehensive ERM program design was created as a result of the project. The Bank wanted responsibility for execution of the ERM program so their personnel were trained on how to implement the design. Tools were provided to aid implementation and knowledge transfer was completed to help the Bank executives become comfortable with the direction and execution required.
